UkrSWIFT Transliteration Standard 2.1 defines the rules for transliterating Ukrainian textual data (Cyrillic) into Latin characters and vice versa, for use in:

• The SWIFT network (FIN, FINPlus)

• ISO 20022 messages (XML), including pacs.008 and pacs.009

• SWIFTRef, Sanctions Screening, and Name Screening services

• Other financial information systems with a limited set of supported characters
