Українська SWIFT спільнота вимагає відключення всіх російських банків від мережі SWIFT. Поки що SWIFT планує відключити 7 російських банків 12 березня. Чому саме ці банки та яке пояснення небажання Європейського Союзу відключати всі банки на фоні шаленої атаки РФ на цивільне населення України УкрСВІФТ пояснень не отримав.
Працюємо разом над збільшенням ефективності санкцій покладаючись поки що в основному на ЗСУ.
Пряма мова від SWIFT:
On 1 March 2022, pursuant to international and multilateral action to intensify financial sanctions against Russia, EU Council Regulation (EU) 2022/345 concerning restrictive measures in view of Russia’s actions destabilising the situation in Ukraine, was passed and prohibits as of 12 March 2022 specialised financial messaging providers, such as SWIFT, from providing services to designated entities.
To this end, in compliance with the legal instruction, SWIFT will disconnect 7 designated Russian entities (and their designated Russia based subsidiaries) from the SWIFT network. This Regulation requires SWIFT to disconnect the identified entities on 12 March 2022, and SWIFT will do so accordingly. SWIFT is incorporated under Belgian law and must comply with this regulation.
Consequently, the affected institutions will be advised that they will be disconnected and that all their contracts with SWIFT will be terminated on 12 March 2022. A SWIFT Broadcast message will be issued to inform the SWIFT community and customer information will be provided on swift.com and through our regular support channels, including a list of FAQs on swift.com.
